 HOW ARE THESE COVID19 PATIENTS TREATED??🤔

Hello Guys, how are you doing and I hope you are enjoying the break?

I came across something interesting and I thought it wise to share with you, it's about the Novel Corona Virus.

We all know it a new strand of the virus and nobody can say he or she is a professor of COVID19, we are all learning about it.

Since it's existence they have been arguments as to whether or not there's a cure, actually there's no drug specific to COVID19 but scientist have developed other strategies to handle the virus.

 NOTE:

It is important to note that;

1) viruses affects our body by attacking the cells and replicating

2) COVID19 affects the upper respiratory and lower respiratory tract.

 HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL TIPS

 _(Number 1 and 2 are for both infected and noninfected persons while 3 and 4 are only for infected cases )._

1) Ensure a proper intake of *vitamin {A, C and D3}* Vit-C and Vit-D are important in the release of cytokines such as interleukin and interferon etc. In addition Vit A and D helps the lungs. Ensure a proper daily dose of these to boost your immune system.

2) *Zinc*: zinc helps In the following ways

      a) prevents viral replication in the cell.

      b) helps us in tasting, this is why we

          Lose our taste when Infected.

      c) makes the RT more alkaline.

3) *Hydroxychloroquine*: Hydroxychloroquine facilitates the entry of zinc into the cell. Over the time people have been misunderstanding this, people keep saying it cures COVID19.

4) *Dexamethasone*: It is use in severe cases, Dexamethasone is an antiinflammatory drug. During the lower respiratory please the cells of the lungs are inflamed, DMS is then introduced.

 The answer to the big question is;

They are treated using the _big four_ which are listed above ( vit-A,CD3, Zinc, Hydroxychloroquine and Dexamethasone) depending on whether is in the upper or lower respiratory tract.

 _Also_  after some days of infection the virulence of the disease is reduced, such that it cannot be transferred to another person. The number of days as stipulated by WHO are; ( 10days for asymptomatic cases and  14days for symptomatic). This is why some people are asked to go back home and treat themselves in isolation, knowing well that they have the virus. Of course this depends on the severity of the case.
